
This week, Manchester School District announced we will launch our first dual-language immersion program in the fall of 2024. The Spanish-English program will start at the elementary level, with two classes of kindergarten students, and it will be open to students from across the city.
We'll be hosting a pair of informational sessions on the program ā one in Spanish (at 4:30 pm) and one in English (at 5:30 pm) ā next Wednesday, October 4, at Memorial High School. You can find more information on the program and the event here: https://www.mansd.org/article/1259332.

Join us at National Night Out this Tuesday from 5-8 pm at Beech Street School/JFK Coliseum. Look for the Manchester School District table to learn more about our job opportunities, and get info on the importance of good attendance. There will be lots of free entertainment, activities (including the Bookmobile!) and plenty of helpful information for families ā we hope to see you there!


The festivities will roll out on Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 am ā 4:00 pm at Veteranās Memorial Park in Manchester, NH. Free transportation to and from the park will be available from the Manchester Transit Authority.

All summer long, anyone 18 and younger can get free meals through the Summer Food Service Program, provided by Southern New Hampshire Services. High School Summer Credit Recovery begins on Tuesday, June 20. Students have been signed up for programming by their guidance counselor. Schedules for each of the four high schools can be found on the Summer Resources page on our website: https://www.mansd.org/page/summer-2023.

Attention families of 11th, 10th, 9th and 8th Graders ... 2023-2024 high school schedules are being sent home with students today (Wednesday). On Saturday, June 17, we celebrate the Class of 2023! Graduations for all four high schools will be held back-to-back at the SNHU Arena in downtown Manchester. The state Board of Education is proposing changes to state minimum standards, known as Ed 306. As part of that process, a series of listening sessions has been scheduled around the state, including one at Memorial High School at 6 p.m. on June 5. Program flyer: Chandler's Ball 3 on 3 tournament will return this summer, with three divisions for players ages 10 to 21. Tournament cost is $15 per team, with proceeds supporting maintenance of Sheridan Emmitt Park. You can find more information on the attached flyer.

Due to a small fire in the kitchen at Manchester School of Technology this morning, today (Wednesday) will be a remote learning day for all students at MST ONLY. It is a regular school day for all other schools. Students who attend MST for CTE programs will not attend today.

There is a two-hour delay for Manchester School District on Wednesday, March 15, due to winter storm clean-up. This affects Kindergarten through Grade 12 and full-day pre-kindergarten. Morning pre-kindergarten is cancelled. Afternoon pre-kindergarten starts at regular time.
