CHS is participating in the state driven "I Am College Bound/I Applied" which aims to increase the number of high school seniors submitting college applications as part of the state's "I Am College Bound" month celebration in November.

On November 18, 2016  during Mod B-G CHS Seniors will have the opportunity to submit at least one college application with the assistance of representatives from admissions offices from various NH colleges and universities.  All NH college/university application fees are waived on this day for the students who choose to participate!

The "I Am College Bound/I Applied" campaign provides on-on-one assistance to any senior, including students who may be the first in their family to attend college, low-income students, and/or students who may be unfamiliar with the college application process.  As part of the initiative, students receive information about the additional components of a college application, college financial aid, and filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  As an added bonus, students who apply during this event will be eligible to win a $500 college scholarship!

The program, part of a nationwide initiative through the American Council on Education, is sponsored in NH by the NH Department of Education, NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF), and the colleges and universities of the NH College & University Council.

Interested students should see their counselor to sign up.
