NH Scholastic Art Awards

The Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire is an extension of the National Scholastic Art and Writing Award. This annual competition of middle and high school students has existed for over 92 years. Past recipients include Sylivia Plath, Robert Redford and Andy Warhol.

Students are provided an opportunity to submit their best work in a variety of categories that span the realm of the visual arts.

Central has a long history of success with the Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire. This year there were over 2000 pieces of artwork submitted from public, private and homeschooled students from all areas of the state.

 

This years winners include CHS seniors:

Claude Kwizera – Gold and Silver Key winner

Jordan McCown – Silver Key Portfolio and Individual Piece

Nick Picciano – Silver Key winner

Elaura Thompshon – Honorable Mention

Johanna Hebert – Honorable Mention

Ashley Holland – Honorable Mention
