About 150 students from the Music Department participated in a 3 day, 2 night trip that was a tourist's dream! We covered a lot of ground hitting the attractions of Times Square, Lincoln Center, Central Park, The Met and Art Museums as well as cruising by the Statue of Liberty and going to a Broadway Show! The highlight of the trip was when we learned "The Pineapple Song" from the cast of "Cabaret" which included our own Alumni!
These music students were the best example of Central Pride - whether it was their enthusiasm to see a show; their amazement at all the art at the Met; their fascination with the variety of things to see in Times Square or their enjoyment while cruising through NYC Harbor. Mostly, it was how they worked together and encouraged one another to sing and participate in this very special trip!
