There are some great college planning workshops coming up by NHHEAF.  There are webinars offered online, or workshops in their office in Concord.  Here is more information:


College Overview for Juniors Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 6:15 p.m.

Applying for college admission and financial aid can be overwhelming. There are applications to be completed, deadlines to meet, essays to write, award letters to be interpreted and complex language to understand. This workshop educates high school juniors and their families about the college admission and financial aid processes. (available for both high school seniors and juniors)  Register here:

College Overview for Seniors Tuesday, August 12,  2014 at 6:15 p.m.

Selecting colleges and applying for admission can be overwhelming. There are applications to be completed, deadlines to meet, essays to write and policies to understand. This session is intended to educate the student and family about the college admission process. Topics include: narrowing your list, questions to ask on a college tour, college essay pointers, the application timeline and the basics of financial aid. Understanding the Common Application  – Tuesday, July 29, 2014 2 to 3 p.m.

In this session, students will learn how to navigate the Common Application website, tips on how to complete the online application and essay, and how to have letters of recommendation and high school transcripts sent through Common App. Register here:
