Senior Kayli Neil entered the NHHEAF Destination College (DC) Speech Contest. Her speech was entered for consideration and was selected as one of eight finalists from over 50 well-qualified entries from across the state of New Hampshire. As a finalist, she was invited to present her speech to the DC Speech Committee at the NHHEAF Concord office. The panel reported that Kayli was very relaxed and comfortable presenting her speech and her mix of great advice, knowledge about the college process, and sense of humor made her a strong contender!
Kayli was selected as the runner up of the state-wide DC Speech contest and will be awarded a $500 scholarship. She will also be the alternate for the keynote speaker at this year’s Destination College program at Southern New Hampshire University onnd.
